The Soul Update was born out of silence the kind of silence that comes when your spirit is tired, your mind is overwhelmed, and nothing in your life feels aligned anymore.
My name is Dimitrius Harris, also known as Mr. Harris, and before this movement ever reached another soul, it was my lifeline. I was lost spiritually, mentally, emotionally. I was disconnected from myself, from God, from the people who loved me, and from the purpose I was created to fulfill. I was scrolling through life. Numb. Distracted. Disappointed.
One day, I realized: the thing I needed didn’t exist. Not in my feed, not in my friend group, not in my community. So I created it not just for myself, but for every man and woman who’s felt like me. For anyone who’s trying to wake up in a world that keeps putting them back to sleep.
The Soul Update is a place to realign, refocus, and rebuild. It’s a global mental health movement. A safe space. A digital sanctuary. A real-world nonprofit. It’s a mission to feed the world not just with food, but with soul.
I don’t have all the answers, but I know this: we don’t heal alone, and we don’t have to stay lost.
